There's nothing quite so painful as realizing your inadequacy. Like when you fight day in and day out and realize that it might not ever be enough. You wake up to loss after loss, fighting so hard to have so little. But you have to keep fighting. I have to keep fighting for those who come after.
I’ve just been told about trains in Italy not running on time. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

My latest read. It was my first holocaust novel. I was prepared not to like it, but it surpassed all expectations. It throughly entranced me and I was hooked from the very beginning. A well earned 5/5. It’s written beautifully.

Oh yeah and you would think I would have been more careful, but literally the morning after this happened I fell down the stairs again rushing to my car to get to work. At least that time i landed on my feet. I won that time.

That person probably thought I was on drugs because I got up like I didn’t just almost die. I went back upstairs closed the door and then said every swear I knew.

I'm having a hard time finding books I want to read. So, I'm going back to my comfort zone and revisiting the Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. It's my favorite book and it has literally changed the way I write and my life.
