As a priest he keeps his bed simple, with little more than a pillow and a blanket. On particularly cold nights, he adds a second blanket for warmth. Occasionally, a book is left behind when his duties keep him. The only things he deliberately keeps close are the letters hidden beneath his pillow.

Very much so. Warm baths are one of the few indulgences Father Withers allows himself. Every now and then, he visits the baths in the Empyreum to relax in solitude. He also enjoys the sauna, provided no one else is using it.
