I've officially sentenced my PS5 to media player jail. I no longer want any of my headspace to be taken up by Sony's gaming ecosystem; it drains, distracts, and distresses me. Any of my backlog still left on it will simply go on my Steam wishlist and bought when on a great sale. I'm done.
If Spider-Man: Brand New Day can still be better and more beloved than it's more ambitious, high-stakes, and fanservice heavy predecessor... SO CAN THE NEXT SUPER SMASH BROTHERS GAME.
At this point, I REALLY wish there was a website where you could check "does the animal make it?" in a movie. Y'know, on a scale of: On screen, off screen, implied, confirmed, plot-relevant, senseless, graphic, tame, etc. 'cuz for fuck's sake bro, my heart is just too soft to be seeing that.

I see what people meant about Bear, but I was WAY more upset about Sandy the Cat. That was utter tasteless shock, and should've been completely cut. Leave the poor fur babies alone, GOD DAMN IT.

Had a stray daydream that the next 3D Mario game centered around Astrology, with power ups based on a new in-universe Zodiac. Both Rosalina and Kamek are revealed to be super nerdy about it and share it with their respective alliance, and Bowser goes sicko with it. Title: "Super Mario Stargazers".

Genuinely--and I mean this--the all digital future wouldn't scare me if my money was simply refunded THE INSTANT content gets delisted/expires/is blatantly taken from me. It wouldn't guarantee media preservation, but it'd be a far less dystopian prospect knowing our money can't just utterly vanish.
Why is this ACTUALLY the scariest film I've ever seen? Why did a god damn POKEMON GAME borderline adapt it for kids? I don't need these questions answered. I just need more opportunities to ask them!
