"A bane to the Paper Mario community" - some literal who Autistic transfem disaster. Terminal Mario fan. She/they Buy Paper Mario TTYD and Mario & Luigi Brothership on Switch Super Paper Mario's strongest soldier https://fawfulthegreat64.carrd.co/

i hate how every mario fan who makes fun of people who enjoy "soul" without fail always go directly for super paper mario's throat. and usually they're also without fail picking the most generic mario games as their "positive" examples to contrast it with and claim "soul" isn't needed.

mario kart 8 deluxe: nintendo switch 2 edition everything is identical and it adds zero new content except for boshi (the actual legit character from super mario rpg, he's here instead of in world because fuck you)

This Toadsworth shit is serious, you got people making long threads about how Toadsworth actually isn't an important character, and people only like him because he has a unique design (Which is wrong for some reason???)

Had a dream where prince peasley was majestically prancing over a floor of broken glass and screaming in pain everytime he landed. "Ode to joy" played every time he leaped, and that uncanny mr incredible music played everytime he was about to land. It was in slow motion.

Normally, Mario Party games give all characters the same hitbox for fairness. However, Bowser Toss in Mario Party 3 gives an advantage to taller characters even with identical inputs. Since no minigames favor shorter characters, Waluigi is the objectively superior character in Mario Party 3.

In 2023, concept art was revealed by Super Mario RPG artist Jiro Mifune where the party was inspired by The Three Musketeers, and included Wario. The posts were soon deleted, but I have restored the images to the best of my ability.

In November 2023, Super Mario RPG artist Jiro Mifune shared early concepts where the party was themed after The Three Musketeers. The posts were soon deleted, but were preserved by Super Mario RPG expert pidgezero_one. The photos are taken at oblique angles and have very low contrast. I have enhanced them to the best of my ability. Translations of the original text accompanying the concept art are provided.

In the "Waltz of the Boos" theme from Super Mario Galaxy, the pizzicato arpeggio in the beginning and throughout the song spells out "DEADEAD DEADEAD". Whether the usage of the sequence "DEAD" for a ghostly theme is deliberate or merely a fitting coincidence is unknown.

In Paper Mario, Bowser claims that the Star Rod makes him invincible. However, in the first battle, it merely raises his Defense to a measly 1. If Mario is given just slightly better shoes, he can get through the protection. Bowser cannot handle taking over 10 damage, making the game crash.

A Bowser course select screen, long thought unused in Super Mario 64 DS, can actually be seen by performing an absurdly specific action: Yoshi must drown underneath the Hazy Maze Cave entrance. If his lifeless body floats up through the pool, the screen will be displayed.

In Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, green trampolines make Mario jump so high he goes offscreen for 6 seconds. By extracting his position values from the code, we can "zoom out" the stage and visualize his actual arc, which reveals just how absurdly high the jump is.

Jump Height: 1186 pixels (5 vertical screens)
Jump Distance: 900 pixels (3.5 horizontal screens)
Jump Duration: 360 frames (6 seconds)

In World 8-7 of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, releasing a mushroom on the third Spine Coaster but not collecting it results in an entertaining interaction whereby the Spine Coaster will balance the mushroom on its nose, like a seal trained to balance a ball.

i just found this fucking image and holy shit can fans like this please fuck off. they are making up a guy. nobody is exclusively asking for only their personal favorites and demanding all others be excluded. except, ironically, the guys opposing all rpg rep
