I did it. I ran out of all my sample filaments and two (nearly three) of my four purchased filaments. But printing organizational stuff instead of trying to remember the size of things I gotta buy while I’m out has been a lifesaver. Also printed some silly cool thingies.

Locking in to get my procrastination list done today. Packing new-semester stuff for my work desk to bring in on Monday Transferring notes Updating my shops Fixing/cleaning/ironing/printing things Setting a schedule for exercise, study, hobby, and maintenance I dunno… face mask, pore strip, shower?

3D printed this impossible triangle and the only thing it’s remotely good for is taking pictures. Like, it doesn’t even work well looking at it with one eye closed. Plus it should have had supports for the illusion end of it because you can see the filament go ragged.

So… I start the day by listening to a religious tin-foil-hat lady rant my ear off for an hour without taking a breath, which had me stress-eat an entire weeek’s worth of chocolate, only to come home to news of Tim Curry and that wasn’t the end of it? Had to spill dinner in my lap too?

After a horrible last hour of my work shift, I come home to find out Tim Curry died. Worst week of my year!!!

I just had someone ask me if I ever met a transgender person and then asked “what’s it mean - is it a man who identifies as a woman or a woman who identifies as a man, cuz this person looks like both, and I don’t wanna be uncomfortable but I don’t wanna be intrusive on the first day [of their job]”

Went to Greenovation (volunteer-run giant junk shop) and found an X-Files vhs box set marked 25¢. Most sensibly-priced item in the whole damn place. Got a dollar out to pay for it and they said SORRY, THIS IS ACTUALLY FIVE DOLLARS.

Every app has a big identical AI sidebar with primary-color sparkles, and I’ve developed a permanent blind spot for that square now. You could put pornography on the right sidebar of an app and I wouldn’t even see it.

I joined #ArtFight really late this year &I didn't have time to do more than 4 pieces (only two to the extent I wanted). On top of having a couple of July commissions on my plate already, I always forget when ArtFight starts til it's almost over. This year, I've put it in my calendar to remind me.

After clearing multiple used spaces in multiple rooms, rearranging my entire office, and unboxing a mammoth purchase, I now have a fancy-ass brand new 3D printer, AMS, & lots of PLA. And a living room filled (FILLED!!) with unearthed, unhomed stuff.

Missed salads too much. Ate a giant Greek salad at my favourite Mediterranean place, along with a nice helping of moussaka. Fuck yeah. But now my tum is like, “I thought we were done with salads.” Been almost 2 weeks 😭
