I love patterns (and that this area is somehow (very) indirectly connected to my work)

Tram-only lane (with extensive overhead lane status signalization), active just 10 hrs per week 🇦🇹🇺🇸
Marseille's (physically) hottest club is (Sort of mazing how little here seems to have changed since my last visit in 2018, be it extent, state or convenience of Marseille's transit network)
We love rail freight (Never seen the Zentralverschiebebahnhof from this perspective before <3)
Usually: Five tram lines and lots of cars Right now: Just insanely quiet <3
Cool that trams are getting sped up here by moving car traffic off the tracks and onto the parking lane (though somewhat odd this parking lane arrangement was built in the first place)
Zurich's love of widespread legal sidewalk parking is genuinely disturbing Those sidewalks aren't even that wide, yet cars need to drive on them for almost the entire length of the block to access that second lane of parking on the other side of the sidewalk
Interesting how (notoriously gray) Zurich's approach to street trees seems to be the popular opposite of Vienna's – planting lots of them on small footprints, densely spaced (great!), but somehow refusing to have any grass on even the widest streets
Compare that to a recent project I voted on in my (very progressive) Vienna district, which turned relatively many car parking spots into space for trees, but still got us nowhere near continuous tree coverage
Another sort-of day trip to Switzerland begins ✨ Looking forward to cycling in and around Zurich tomorrow (in, uh, 37C weather)
International long-distance trains, aka … transit I'd genuinely love to know how well the SEO content on those @transit.app PKP Intercity pages works transitapp.com/en/region/po...

Hi from Weststeiermark, a station on Austria's new Koralmbahn opened six months ago Implementing ÖBB's digital strategy, there are no printed train timetables anywhere at this station (imo sensibly so), and no vitrins for any other passenger information posters
Olomouc trams: Short (Single-ended, with three doors on the left and *four* on the right side)
Erste Bank really found the best way to enter a foreign market- Charter an international train, with elaborate branding, fine dining and live music, and let employees and raffle winners from the public ride it for free on a few runs between their HQ in Vienna and Poland (their new market)
Hello from the loudest and most falling-apart »sun-fueled innovation« electric train on the continent! 🇪🇸🇨🇿
Avant (2021) / Après (2026) the parking reconfiguration that turned what used to be the worst sidewalk in this Währing neighborhood into a relatively pleasant one Proud of this one since it's the result of the first motion I introduced as a district councilmember back in 2023 :)
Worried about train delays? This simple trick might be for you!
Travelling across the 🇺🇸 Deep South, all the way up to the Carolinas. An area full of history. 💪🏾❤️ Getting off the train at #Charlotte, NC, (➡️✈️) as we are running about six hours late. (Otherwise I wouldn’t have made it to my next destination.) 📷 Impressions from my ride on board #Amtrak’s #Crescent.
CFM removed both middle cars from this D1 DMU, reduced frequency from daily to thrice a week and cancelled several intermediate stops en route from Chişinău to Ungheni, yet on our ride last evening still somehow managed to leave Chişinău early and already arrive late at the first stop
