Dozens of gas-burning power plants are being built across the country, solely to power data centers. These plants could emit as much planet-warming pollution as half of all passenger vehicles in the entire country in a single YEAR. We need a data center moratorium — now.

The United States is so addicted to car culture that it doesn't seem to see the grave (literally) irony of holding a vehicle cruise and burnout event in a city already struggling with relatively high levels of air pollution. Unbelievable.

A right-turn overlap (or left-turn overlap in righthand-drive countries) with a complementary left-turn phase (or right-turn phase in righthand-drive countries) as a parent phase basically creates a two-way movement, as if it were one continuous curve in the road. Clever eh?

Today I graduated from the LMD-8000 to an ASC/3! Unfortunately the 'A' connector grip didn't properly grip the power cord, so I zip-tied it to one of the cord-clamp screw holes instead for the time being (unless/until I populate the rest of the 'A' connector).
Really not good for the PM₂.₅ monitor for a community in a valley full of smoke to be offline right now 😬
