I'm so excited to share that the Daggerheart game I've been recording for months is ready to start streaming!! A group of amazing queer players, all from Europe (aside from me), gathering to tell a homebrew story! Our GM is amazing. It's a delight to get to be a player.

3 days in a row of vision loss because of migraine aura. So. Rude. The firework show is pretty, but the forced rest is getting incredibly boring.

Hey GMs, things are rough right now. Surprise your #ttrpg players this weekend with a little treat. Keep that door unlocked. Shoot a projectile at the monk. Let the cleric face a horde of undead. Give animals useful info when the Ranger chats with them. Find ways to help the players roll with Hope.

The public made noise for Liam Ramos and it got him released from Dilley. Now we must make noise for 7 year old Diana Crespo. Her parents were taking her for emergency medical care when ICE grabbed them, and she’s rotting in the camp sick and exposed to measles. Get them out!

Migraine brain chemicals would like me to believe that I can do absolutely nothing right. This incredible service dog is here to remind me I am at least capable of petting her. Best girl. Life saver.

A caramel colored puppy lies on a pile of blankets with her head on a rainbow plushie and stares at the camera with loving eyes.

I had too many friends dosed too many times in '20 to not know how much havoc this stuff wreaks long term. The eagerness to use it keeps me home because I would become a quick asthmatic detriment. Take this seriously. Be gentle on you and anyone you know who gets hit by it, especially kids.

Tear gas is banned in international warfare, yet classified as a “riot control agent” that law enforcement can use for crowd control. “It just doesn’t work well, and it hits the weakest people the most, and causes the most complications in them,” an anesthesiology professor at Duke University said.

Had my first 7 days in a row with minimal migraine symptoms in years that has come to an end. I don't know what's harder - having the symptoms return or now being able to remember what 7 days without them can feel like and losing it again. This grief is as heavy as the pain is hard.

The acoustic version of Golden from yesterday is playing on repeat in my brain and I didn't even get to hear the full song. Want it on repeat loudly where I can blast sing along with it while weeping cathartic tears. Please.

It has honestly been a rough DM'ing month for me. But tonight the extra sparkle in @fridaytea.com decaf batch of TeaTPRG brought the smile I needed to the table. I was able to get just the right balance of scary enough for the players but not so scary I'll have nightmares tonight. Perfect. Sparkle.

A brightly packaged bag of loose leaf tea is held up in front of a grey teapot. The company name Friday Afternoon Tea arches across the top of the package and a graphic of a matcha green dragon curls up with a cup of tea in the center of the package. The clear window shows a vibrant blend of dried raspberries, black tea leaves, pink and white tea pot sprinkles, and orange peel. At the bottom of the package a label reads Decaf TeaTRPG, the name of the tea blend.

Anwyna is clearly disappointed in all of my recent decisions in life. Mostly the ones that don't involve holding her in my lap in this chair at this exact moment.

A caramel colored puppy drapes herself on a navy blue recliner with a log cabin quilt draped over the back. The puppy stares forlorn into the vague distance. No one is petting her. It is a tragedy.

Service dog has an upset tummy. Spend an hour batch cooking for her. Done. I've got you, love. She stares back. Oh, me? Right. I'm supposed to eat, too? Crap.

A soft brown colored dog that looks more like a walking a stuffed animal than an actual canine stares up at the camera with expectant eyes. She really does not understand why her human makes such silly choices.

Friend has self published a solid first romantasy and I'm damn proud of her. So today, with head pain blaring, I gave reading a chapter aloud a try because, yes - I'm a sucker for punishment and want to help record an audiobook. (F#ck AI) Listened back. I need a closet. Put me in a closet. #irony

Note to past self: DM drop is a LOT rougher than post-preaching drop. And having games several days in a row doesn't give time to recalibrate. You have got to rethink this if you're gonna home brew so much. Yikes.

Ah, migraine syndrome. Nothing says "you're actually quite nauseous," like thinking the plain rice and boiled chicken dinner you've made for your sick puppy looks appetizing. Technically, there is enough to share....

Tomorrow is Game 1 in what will be my 2nd commissioned long-term homebrew campaign. Absolutely incredible players. I feel absolutely lost. Game is in 12.5 hours. This is normal, right? Time to dig into their backstories and watch the world come to life.
