I routinely see kids products that come in the 2 options "Dinosaur" or "Unicorn"- which apart from the obvious, annoys me because one gets science and one gets mythology. This could easily be fixed by swapping dinosaurs with dragons, or, hear me out, aggressively marketing Cambrian sea life to girls

"why does nobody remember this" I say, holding up a DVD of a 2006 live action CatDog movie. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson frown at each other in prosthetics that don't quite resemble a cat or a dog. Their lower bodies are connected by a CG tube. A tiny blue Will Ferrell leers at them from a mouse hole

It's hard being a Cartoon Knower (strictly professional) and a parent, when other parents try to bond over how bewildered they are by childrens media. "My kid's always watching that- what is it- Pikachu show?" Haha no I hadn't heard of it either, for I too was grown in a lab already thirty

"real cinema is all about story" "real music is about lyricism" "real game design isn't about graphics" - quotes from the discerning Sensory Information Hater. Loves stories about human experiences but hasn't had one personally. They cannot see paintings and their house is unfurnished

I always see nonpartisan, righteous anger at public art. Everyone loves to hate a concrete blob bought with taxpayer money, what's it even meant to be etc. My hot take: art funding is good and there's no benign policy for keeping out 'bad' art. You really just gotta fund it until a good one happens

I'd like a large scale data visualisation of which different 'creatives' hang out. Do painters and clowns go to the same parties? As an animator I cross paths with game devs and puppeteers, but do they know each other? And most importantly why do I have so many mutual friends with improv comedians

Aside from the obvious, what's really dumb about the word "content", is that "contents" only exist in relation to a container- so in this context, a literal web container, on a page. Div fillers. Sure mate, your rectangle is the star of the show. What's wrong you haven't eaten your plate toppers

Here is episode 2! I did the sound and music for both of these. I should also mention the "sound" largely consists of me barking like a little dog. If you would enjoy hearing me, impersonating a small dog, then hoo boy! This is for you

Eating a vegetable: This is sensible. This is how plants should taste. This is grass and wood at its most edible Eating a fruit: This is a delicately crafted lure. Flesh engorged with sugar to attract me like a bird, to fill me up with seeds. A sexual organ. This is the reverse of the Jumanji plant

The USA does frightening alchemy to corn, makes it into battery acid or whatever, but at least they have corn. Australia is the USA with no corn. The British just rocked up and ignored every plant like "gee I hope we can make baked beans grow here or we're fucked"

"users quickly bypassed the AI's safeguards by prompting it to roleplay as"- ok so what I'm hearing again and again, is they've built a dumb guy in a Bugs Bunny cartoon. You just gotta run back into frame in a wedding dress and now the AI thinks you're getting married. Robots are now all Elmer Fudd

Saw 1 episode of the new Alien show, and whatever, not really for me, BUT it's set 100 years in the future and in one scene some kids watch Ice Age 4?? People watch old movies of course, but not MOST old movies- and that has to be the funniest prediction as to what will stand the test of time

Hi these weren't shipping to the US for a while, but now they are again! You might not know it yet but this rat is your new favourite cartoon character. When I finish my rat cartoon you will say "wow I love this rat, I'm glad I had purchased Rat™ merchandise from wombot.studio/shop before seeing it"
