I'm very sad that I never had the opportunity to visit DC before the regime destroyed it. A decade ago, it was on my list to visit next. I don't think it will ever be the same. I may as well just visit vapid, cheap, Las Vegas for the same "cultural" experience but without as much fash.

I miss the feeling of joy or even just contentment. I don't remember the last time I felt anything but sadness, anger, or despondency, and I am having a difficult time believing that I will ever feel anything else. Once you witness the horrors of man at this extreme level, you are forever changed.
So, I'm just supposed to pay taxes to the regime? No one prepared me for the fact that in order to be a law abiding citizen, I will have to give my money to fund the most vile shit/people imaginable. I keep telling myself to get it over with, but I can't physically or mentally bring myself to do it.
