So Farage wants to adopt IXE tactics. Armed masked men in military style dress, patrolling areas, deciding who is white enough. Who will be the volunteers, well we have seen them on the streets already. Thugs and abusers. I'm sure our girls will feel safer. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

I despair at the cowardice of our politicians in the face of pressure from the oil companies and the inane posturing of Reform. Watching BBC news about the current heatwave in the UK and Europe. They keep referring to extreme temperatures. No mention that these will become the normal summer in the future and that Climate Change is here. Talk about infrastructure but not about more Net Zero. Sticking to Farage's agenda?

Can't this Labour govertstand up for anything. They know that the policy is right and necessary, but lacking a backbone they cave in at the first sign of opposition. The industry has had enough notice, customers are turning to EVs. www.theguardian.com/business/202...

I heard a bit of BBC Radio4 Any Questions this morning. Reform and Tory spouting lies about Net Zero making energy prices rocket, how we need North Sea Gas and Oil to lower prices. This went without challenge. The Green MP defended NZ from a strategy point of view but didn't challenge the price lie.

So I was trying to buy some new parts for a bike today. I asked the AI assistant a question to clarify compatibility. It answered in Spanish. I asked another question, reply in Spanish. I asked why it was answering in Spanish, it apologised in English. 1/2

www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... A lot of confusion in this article, calling the vehicle both an ebike and a motorbike. BBC need to train their reporters. There are calls for a new law to deal with illegal ebikes, but surely they are motorbikes and the laws already exist for the rider and the bike.

Just watched the Ultimate Cycling Show on Quest. I thought it was very messy. A lot of chat between the presenters, but I didn't learn much about the big races this weekend. Not informative or grabbing for non cyclists. If this is the future of TNT cycling, then I'm glad that I am not subscribing.
