I am a whimsy, romantasy gal… both in what I read and write. So when characters from a #socialhorror novel whispered in my ear and a plot quickly revealed itself, I was taken aback. Just finished chapter 1 of my WIP and there’s a knot in my stomach😩 It’s gonna be a long, rough few months ahead lol 🖤

The scariest part about really getting to know your #characters and allowing the #plot to write itself on the #rewrite is discovering that your favorite character has to die 😭

I am deep into #editing in Word and this effin’ period won’t erase! I hit backspace, I highlight and press delete…nothing. Rage consumes me and after a few minutes of fuming, I realize it’s a speck of dirt on my laptop screen 🫠 I need to go outside and touch grass lol How is your editing going? 😂

I completed my first manuscript in 2025. I completed my second novel this year and am in the planning stages for a third. I am in the #querying trenches and I am 40 years old. ✨ I admire those who find their calling in their teens and 20s but shout out to all of us late bloomers chasing our dreams 💕
