Jongho scanned the shelves and racks half-heartedly when his eyes stopped on [snack]. He pulled it from the peg and held it gently like it was an artifact. He supposed it was in a way; a reminder of a time when the most difficult thing he had to worry about was an exam or a new high note. It seemed so simple compared to now.
"These were my favorite when I was younger," he said, a hint of nostalgia in his voice. "Only for special occasions, though."
"Like when?"
He was somewhat surprised to see genuine interest on Yunho's face. And more surprised that he found himself wanting to answer. "Like… After I accepted the offer from KQ. And when school let out for a holiday break."
Yunho laughed. "You hold those on the same level?" He teased.
Jongho shrugged. "Both were special in their own way." He hung the bag back on the peg.
"You should take them," Yunho advised. "You can celebrate us getting back to the others."
It seemed like such a trivial thing to be worrying about snacks while they were out to get more important supplies. Jongho shook his head. He made a show of hefting the empty drawstring bag, heart soaring when Yunho giggled. "Another time, maybe.
