So proud to see even in my near-rural town had a massive (for us) rally today. But chronic hats off to the Vet running a propane station up the road who is adding more and more signs to his establishment.

Visited one of my favorite downtown shopping areas today where every ship is a locally owned business. I wish every town was like this. With curated shops for specific interests and a sense of community. Having a dedicated LGBT bookstore is also a big plus tbh.

Damn. Who would have thought turning 35 would be such a wild ride. As it turns out you stop caring about what other people think. I got back into anime abd became a rabid fan of ice hockey. I go to sporting events. I have anime figures. NOW IF THE STRESS COULD JUST VANISH WE'D BE GREAT.

I need folks to make more animation key frame books. They are so, so helpful when learning other styles especially because they usually have notes. Mine for Berserk and Violet Evergarden are a gem on my reference shelf. Now I need one for JJK and Bean Counter and Chainsaw Man.

I love my dog. Uhtred is the best boy. I pet him, I feel better. I smile at the thought of him. I told myself after Tahloula passed I would be fine without a dog. Then I met Uhtred at the atelier and no joke within 30 minutes we were driving home with him. He's a good boy.

I can officially introduce to you our new family member: Uthred "Uti-Booty"! Uthred is a 3 year old half lab half basset hound rescue who, after being saved from the euthanasia list and shelter hopping, has found his forever home. His favorite things are cuddles, and being told he's a good boi.

This dog adoption process has really opened my eyes to what I want in a best furry friend. I always thought I was a spaniel person who dreamt of big dogs. Turns out I love hounds. And big dogs. And spaniels. Terriers are cool. The only breeds I don't want are toys and herders.
