i wanted to take art fairly seriously but i don't think my heart's in it. it's gonna be a reeeaaalll slow process. u can't replace my love for music ... ya just cant ...
i have been thinking about writing kick ass music with the intent of using it in a tetris (fan)game. i dont care anymore. i just want tetris games with music so good you feel incentivized to buy the soundtrack on bandcamp and listen to it in your car
i have limited access to the appropriate tools, but maybe someday ill make vocaloid. might be fun.
some songs i write stay in backlog hell for a long time, but "111fahrenheit" (spelled incorrectly here) has always been finished, just not fully polished. ive combined three tracks; the piano roll, and the two furnace tracker arrangements. hopefully this will suffice for now.
music is one of my better skills, i think ... with it, i can tell a story without needing to write any of the words. it all sort of falls into place. it all starts to connect. listen closely, and you will find that my compositions are related. it's rarely unintentional ...
after having switched to witchsky, being given options to make this site less diminishing to one's mental health (ie disabling statistic / interaction numbers) has really made me think about how comfortable we've gotten with intentionally distracting web / app design.
