File Garden should generally have much more consistent performance now! I implemented load balancing. Also, we switched to a much cheaper server host (with better specs). Storage costs are still high and going up though. Thanks for all the new Patreon donations lately, it helps a lot :D ❤️

Our costs from net storage use have increased another 10% this month, now $421/mo (in addition to the server costs ~$200/mo). I'm paying all costs out of pocket, and donations aren't keeping pace. So for now, I've unfortunately decided to decrease our free storage limit from 15 GB to 2 GB. (1/2)

We're aware the server has been going down a lot lately--we've been hitting memory bottlenecks from high server load. The site's traffic has been growing more and more over the last year, and the original backend developed several years ago isn't holding up well. (1/2)

The file.garden domain is currently down. The website (filegarden.com) and all files are fine, but direct links are inaccessible. The issue seems to be on Cloudflare's end (our domain provider). I contacted them and will post as soon as they reply. Unfortunately the average response time is 3 days.
