lol, trying some shit on a plane with more than two Israeli passengers of reasonable good health seems like a stupid idea. there's a good chance you'll have people trained in hand-to-hand combat and / or who can fly and land planes on board. that's what conscription to the IDF does to people.

I was just told by some ~28yr old guy that I apparently look like one of the Powerpuff Girls. I was on my grocery run, no makeup, no nothing. I should provide La Mer with an endorsement for their face moisturizer. Apparently it makes a 41-year-old woman look like a Kindergarten superhero.

found out yesterday that there's something better to keep me on the treadmill at the gym than Netflix: watching a 20yr old guy in tight shorts and a rashguard doing professional level diving jumps right in front of me. (I love my new gym-cum-Olympic-pool combo)

I did: - dig through 2yrs of unsorted papertrail to find that one letter with that one random number needed to switch my online banking to my new phone - call a bunch of psychiatrists to find one who can provide what my GP requested - cancel my UK credit card YAY me!

grim reaper is drawing closer: "that blonde... clown... no, not that blonde, and not that clown... you need to take out that war criminal... well, closer, but still not quite the correct war criminal blond clown"

things I have achieved this week: - sorted out issues with my Sim card on my new phone - setup 2FA for company systems on my new phone - had an eye test, ordered new glasses, will receive new lenses in 2 weeks - had 2 pairs of shoes repaired - picked up clothes from the cleaners - 2 loads of laundry

started a list "things I really like about Germany" - currently it contains local fresh produce markets, the variety of apples, bread, playgrounds, protection of renters, and the Deutschlandticket.

One of the great joys of my adult life has been realizing that I can just pick up a new skill every so often, take a fun little class in it weekly for a year or two, and simply enjoy meeting people and getting medium proficient and not attempting to become professional in it at all!
