New article from me in @ConversationEDU looking at the strange trend of 'fake podcasts'. These have been around for a couple of years now, though seem to have become a more permanent fixture in video marketing and political communication.

The ‘fake podcast’ format isn’t just being used to spread misinformation. Many legitimate companies are also using it to sell their products and services.
