Time travelling; under a blanket, on my saggy old sofa, with the autumn sun on my face. I’ll soon be able to climb hillforts again. Until then, I will feed my soul with reading, drawing and daydreaming. Onwards.

Church Lawton double exposures. I dragged my dodgy leg out for a wander around my favourite place this afternoon. It was painful but not agony, and far outweighed by the sheer joy of reconnecting with nature after a month of staring at four walls.

“The entire landscape was illuminated and transformed by these unique pyrotechnics of labour atoning for its grime, and dull, weird sounds, as of the breathings and sighings of gigantic nocturnal creatures, filled the enchanted air” - Arnold Bennett, ‘Anna of the Five Towns’ #PotteriesBottleOvenDay

Drop me a message if you’d like to make a purchase. I don’t have an online shop yet but may open one if I get enough interest. Prints are £10 individually (max A3 size), or if you buy a set of four I’ll throw in one of them for free :-) . . . . . #abstractart #printsforsale #wallart #wallartforsale

When DJ Sidwayne (Wayne Smith) asked the people of Stoke-on-Trent to “fill the street” yesterday, as he took to the decks outside The Unicorn Inn in honour of his son Nathan (who tragically passed away earlier this month), the response was phenomenal, and the afternoon unforgettable.
