Always busy doing something parkrun ED, crochet, Archie the springer spaniel, nature, word games, church & choir, gardening, Mum of teen, drinking wine, let me know if I missed anything!

That thing when the upstairs loo is leaking (mercifully clean) water and it finds its way to a ceiling light causing the downstairs lights to fuse so you have no upstairs loo and no downstairs lights 🤦‍♀️

An only slightly out of date photo of my crochet pooling project. Tonight I finished using this yarn and tomorrow I need to join in a new ball. I’m so pleased with how it’s looking 🧶

A piece of multicoloured crochet in dark blue, purple, green and ginger yarn. The yarn forms a tartan style pattern.

Today’s #parkrun pics. We had 104 first timers today, so 62% of our total finishers had never run the course before. It was also one of the biggest events since Covid and a quarter of returning runners got PB’s. More in alt text.

The visitors board at Forest of Dean parkrun today, packed full with names and locations. 104 first timers listening to the brief under the trees. A group of 4 volunteers, mostly wearing pink hi-viz vests, stood around talking. That’s me, leaning on my crutch. Archie the brown and white springer spaniel asking the photographer to throw his stick.

Good morning and happy parkrunday 🏃‍♀️ 🚶 🦺 It’s a bright but cooler morning at just 16c. Perfect running conditions for those that can. However I’m volunteering as timekeeper again today. Hopefully can do something different next week 🤞 #parkrun #eventdirector

Last Thursday I filled out a self referral for NHS physio for my sprained ankle. I’ve just had a call offering me an appointment at 1030 today as they have a cancellation! Proof that the #NHS can still be amazing 🤩

My friend has taken Archie for a walk with her cocker spaniel. Archie heard her voice and went from asleep upstairs to out the back door in approximately 10 seconds.
