We can't let this go, Dr Schwartz mentioned "true abortions." Let's be clear there is NO such thing. She wants CDC to be sure that hospitals & doctors are not "hiding" abortions in emergency room data or emergency definition. Women deserve healthcare and medical care free of political interference.
Dr Schwartz thinks CDC should go back to its OG mission. Would that be malaria prevention? Or is that infectious disease? She stated "too much mission creep." What is creep? Nutrition, physical activity? Decreasing heart disease & stroke? Promoting effective cancer treatments? Where is the line?
Seems like to us that Dr Schwartz will not stand against more RIFs is what we heard. Did others hear this too? She didn't say that she would stop more large scale layoffs at CDC. say what?

Senator Cassidy was on fire with his questioning of Dr Schwartz. Cassidy losing his primary has brought out his frankness and we are here for it. Too bad it is too little to late for HHS and USA's public health systems.
