One of my uni classes is using discord for announcements and I physically cannot use a server join link in a mobile browser. It either renders a completely useless popup (even in desktop mode) or redirects me to the app store to download a glorified browser wrapper. Actual garbage.

"Indies will save us" No! YOU WILL SAVE INDIES! Go leave a review for that neat indie game you like, share the trailer for an upcoming game you're anticipating, tell your fave developer they did a good job, go tell people about such and such game that's just come out, you can make a difference!

I'm ethically against any use case for the stuff & this is depressing, but the amount of people clowning on LLM thesaurus use is kinda sad? If you're going to hate on something, please try to learn how it works so you can do so accurately.

Slay the Spire 2 Mega Crit. No disclosure, "our programmers use AI for code reviews." Yano admits to using it as a thesaurus too. -y Misleading titled article: www.gamespot.com/articles/sla...

Zero parades, while a fun play, is ultimately still the sum of its parts. It genuinely tries to tackle different themes than disco, which I genuinely respect, but it's unfortunately incapable of ludologically reinforcing them. One overlap is substance abuse, which serves as a great comparison...

Doing a playthrough. Initial impressions are surprisingly positive. It's not disco. Thematically, it's just not on that level. Technically, it's a step up in a lot of areas. At times it's at odds with the themes of the original while still reusing its systems. To be revealed if it does so well.

I was fully ready to discount zero parades, but I think it's put succinctly that we owe it to the genre to study this entry. The disco tools plugin is still young but i'm definitely interested in adding newer genre elements to its repoitoire as time goes on. As always, contribs are welcome.

Unfortunately, HR made our office manager take this down almost immediately. They said because it's in a common area, it had to be removed. We've used common areas for many things as a team, including fan works, but HR seems to believe that a Celebration of Service is inappropriate.

Those of us in Rockville were inspired by the Dallas team's vigil for those let go Monday and made our own Celebration of Service. We set it up this morning in the common area of the first floor at 9am today.

Flowers and framed photos of laid-off developers in the lobby of Bethesda Games Studios.
