Which feature in Safari 26.2 is your favorite?? I always try to imagine the answer while writing… will they be more excited about command/commandfor or field-sizing? Are the HTML improvements the headline? Or CSS/SVG/JS…? Then I’m curious, what do you really think? webkit.org/blog/17640/w...

I sent my first Internet email 30 years ago 🙀 Fun detail: my email address wasn't even a real personal inbox. It was more like an omnibus address that looked like: firt%my-BBS@international-provider.com So yes, I was already using firt as my username back then. 😅
🇺🇸Next week, I'll be traveling to San Francisco and the Bay Area. By the end of the week, I'll be attending the Web AI Summit by Google in Sunnyvale. I hope to meet some of you there! 😀
I'm at a tech event in Argentina, and several people have mentioned the same feeling: AIOverflowException. There is almost no space these days for topics other than AI.
Meta's big reveal today: smart glasses with a display and a wristband for gesture control. Cool. I'm now wearing my Google Glass (2013) + Myo armband (2014). Same thing! minus the AI 😂
I’ve tested a couple of agentic browsers recently. They were too slow and failed at very basic tasks, like saving a calendar appointment, running a simple search, or filling out a web form from a JSON record. Right now, they’re still just a promise of a possible future.
Chapter 4 is ready ✅ I'm working on my next technical book. Physical printed book. Also, as an ebook. With a well-known IT publisher, as if it's 2015 all over again. 😃

Five years ago, I published an open letter denouncing Apple employees for their hostile and bullying attitude toward developers who voiced criticism. It gained enough traction that, a few days later, Tim Cook briefly responded to it in the U.S. Congress. Letter: firt.dev/lazy

20 years ago in Buenos Aires, I launched Latin America’s first Mobile App Dev career. I built the full curriculum: J2ME, .NET, WAP, SMS, Symbian, Palm & more — years before iPhone or Android even existed. 😀
🔴ADD TO HOME SCREEN on iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 Any website is treated as an app by default (a.k.a. a PWA) if added to the home screen. "Add to home Screen" is now 3 taps away: 1️⃣ ... menu 2️⃣ Share 3️⃣ ... more (second one)
All #WWDC25 videos are now live! Quick fun detail: some slides mention Safari 19 instead of the final name, Safari 26 — just like when xrOS appeared instead of visionOS 😅 Here’s a thread with the six web-related sessions you can watch now 👇

"The Town that Went Crazy For Crypto" Last Sunday, the printed US edition of The New York Times featured my investigation from a few months ago into a huge crypto scam involving Polish actors hired as fake executives in a small town in Argentina. It's an incredible story! Links in reply!
