Boston area furs, please try to get this message to as many locals as you can. please remember Silver. i have so many regrets but i hope your pain is gone now. rest easy. be at peace.

"i'm very sorry to have to say this but we've lost a member of the Boston furry community. last night my partner and i received news that Morgan Seltzer, aka Silver, took her own life last month. she was 25 and she was one of my best and closest friends locally. she was one of the first people i started talking to in my first year of college as i began reaching out to the local furry community. she loved making chainmail and cooking and games and she was very good at all of them. she attended and volunteered at ANE often and the clinking of her metal tail followed her everywhere she went.""she was one of the kindest, most earnest and genuine people i've ever known and learning of her death was like having a piece of my soul ripped out of me. she taught me how to be trans before i even knew i was and she helped me even more after i came out. i will forever regret that she'll never get to see me turn into the person that she helped me become. i've lost a dear friend and a sister and i know anyone who knew her will feel the same way. when i am done mourning i will do my best to help this community honor her the way she deserves to be. trans lives should never end this way and especially not hers but all we can do now is remember her and celebrate her unique and beautiful contributions to this community. i will never forget her and i'm glad that she's finally found peace.""trans lives are human lives and pride is forever. please be patient with me while i continue to process and mourn and please try to spread this to as many members of the Boston community as you can. she was one of us, she mattered, and every furry who calls Boston their home deserves to know. i loved Morgan and i love you all. stay safe."Digital headshot of Silver, a white anthro dragon with pink eyes, smiling at the camera.
