If you're taking these AoS rumors at face value, just remember that 9th edition 40k was rumored to have all models in a unit be on single giant diorama style base. Solely because of the St Catherine sisters model existed.

I'm a bit shit at a) sticking to a consistent-ish article schedule and b) posting on here. So here's my battlescroll article from yesterday! Best bit is my kid's Ironjawz WIP photo ;) woehammer.com/2026/04/02/a...

AoS April BattleScroll Review - Woehammer

We’re back again for another Battlescroll Review… a day late or right on time? As always, I needed a bit of “finking” time (hmmm…. Maybe I should work that into a slogan 😉) to sort of take things in a...

Excuse the poorly lit WIP picture but I've been loving doing the Vongrim! I'm just finishing off the last 5 of 20. It's been great to experiment with skin tones and hair and these models look fantastic in their squads! Hope they explore more of this side of KO in the future!

After umming and ahhing for a while about giving Coaching a try... I finally did and I've found it's had a really positive impact on my competitive gaming. Playing the most and my best AoS since I started this hobby! Thanks to @positivevictim.bsky.social and the team at Onwards for the support.

Age of Sigmar Coaching, worth it or not? - Review of Onwards AoS - Woehammer

Got my last photos done for the slow grow today. Already working on March's first unit ;) Plenty of KO still in the backlog!

I had a great time interviewing Andrezzo for this one. He's just been to his first tournament and started his experience with us all!

I think that's the best I can do for photos of this thing! By far the biggest model I've ever painted! Started way too long ago but kept stalling after I'd done about 80% of the painting.

When your editor makes you rename the List Challenge to make it AoS specific and rule out Old World... You get "Fittsy's AoS List Challenge" woehammer.com/2026/02/22/f... I'd been missing the @plasticcraicaos.bsky.social ones of old so I'm trying to resurrect the genre!

Two articles in one month. It's been quite a January, painting, playing, and writing! The shit weather helps. Been working on my practice and prep with my tts games and I naturally had to include a shout out to Roma @dudesofsigmar.bsky.social

Playing AoS Tournaments in Tabletop Simulator Fittsy with more than one article in a week? Well… the weather is shit outside and it’s a good time of year to stay inside playing Age of Sigmar. In case you’re unfamiliar with Tabletop Simulator (TTS), it’s a software that let’s you play board games…

Getting started with Tabletop Simulator for AoS

You want to get started in Tabletop Simulator (TTS). Fittsy is here to save the day! Or at least help out enough for you to get started and learn enough to jump into it and get going. In my adventure to try and get better, I’ve gotten into using TTS. I’ve been using it for a couple of different things. Mostly for checking out deployment and movement options but I’ve also been getting into playing full games on there now too.

My favourite models I've painted in a while. Really happy with how the scheme translates over to these ones. Looking forward to paint more of these!

Brokk had been sitting on my desk "almost done" since months! Now he's ready to rock the tables... And spike that damage either to amazing or "why do I take him" levels.

Finally got the terrain assembled and painted up. I'd been playing without it just to up the difficulty on my end! These things are amazing for the points and win me games! Kept the colour scheme pretty basic and it matches well with the army!

Got my 2nd tournament of the year done and a full on far too long battle rep up on Woehammer. Had a decent showing with the KO and made some mistakes which cost me some of the games, let's call them learning opportunities. Feels good to be back! woehammer.com/2026/01/29/g...

I've been a busy old Fittsy these last 4 months! Finally got some more time for AoS and I'll be heading off for a tournament (after not enough practice games). Finished painting up a bunch of things to play this list finally too. Feels good to be back!

I've always wanted to play with a priest... A couple of snips and a few extra bits and bam! Saw a similar concept with the flame and had to put that on too!

I've gotten a bit excited about the Helsmiths release and I went down a deep dark hole of leaks... Avoid my fate and read my article instead where I throw in a bunch of opinions and reactions! (Or is it just a tldr of Reddit and YT leaks?) woehammer.com/2025/09/10/f...

Back after a summer break and liking the look of the new KO book! Now to start getting those reps in again and see if I can make them work for me this time! (And quickly before I need to start a Chaos Dwarves army)
