My biggest toxic trait as an artist is refusing to look up references till it's too late 😭😭😭 (or not looking them up @ all,, I jus be stubborn sometimes ok,, 💔)

As you can tell-did NOT do her wings any favors 💔 But trying to give her a more watery/icey cold look to get in touch with the whole "moon controls the tides" type thing 🦐 Her inner mane still reflecting the night sky + moon like a watery surface but couldn't fit it in there too much

I started gettin nervous coloring in the biggest sketch & started messin up so if some of these look xtra messy my bad 😭🥀

Ik I draw them from time to time but these are my very first OCs & they always come together- Rose (purple pony person idk) & Thorn Bush (big aa green hellhound p much)

In my wittl story for them they went thru a lot together (& I mean A L O T) so they're p much stuck to each other like glue! & Even tho they ABSOLITELY started out as a mlp/creepypasta crossover oc type thiNg-I now consider them their owN characters (even if the mlp part is still lowkey canon in their story😭 To honor my younger self I refuse to change it along with their names 🥀 (Rose used to be Rainbow Rose & ofc she looks sM different so I did myself sOme favors @ least 💀))

The purple unicorn sits down at a cushioned wall seat in some sort of.. waiting place? Stale restaurant? She wasn't sure-not having a chance to explore yet-just thankful there was a nice lit place to rest. Her hooves were throbbing with pain-they started to develop cracks-from all the walking, sitting, even having to rest in watery places for...she's not sure how long. She could feel the soles wanting to flatten. Wincing, she lifts her hoof closer to her face to inspect it. Even the long fur overlapping her hooves is stained with whatever was in the waters. Loose strands falling out and piling up on the floor beneath her. She'll rest here for a while to recover, try to trim the fur her off while she's at it. If she can't find any material to wrap her hooves with, the fur might be all she has...

She grits her teeth, mentally preparing for another trot down a long hallway. Except this time it looks like it'll be a dark unsettling one. The skin and tissue around & beneath her hooves had a dull ache settling in. "Please be...something good this way.."

On the inside there's a clear sunset light but outside there's no source to blind her. She sighs as she walks on. No exit here either

There's a slide this time- Looks like it has a way up to higher ground at the top. She looks up and out the windows just to see a blank dull light and other identical buildings placed randomly about-all tall; stretching into the sky as far as she can see- Below can't be seen either. No way out in this room too

Random fun fact I'm makin up in my au to put randomly here-

The word "Nightmare" originated/was created due to Nightmare Moon-AKA known as "The Night Mare" in my au- Ponies spread tales of her cruel and dreadful battle with Celestia that dragged on for weeks- Her appearance alone haunted your dreams- Ponies would scream out "Night Mare" in the middle of the night- trying to explain a horrible dream of the wicked mare of darkness appearing- It eventually caught on that horrible dreams you have are referred to as nightmares

How'd it work in old ponish? I'm still working on trying to find a good enough guide to the language ok :") What'd they call bad dreams before the night mare? Just bad dreams ig idk- Me tired

Luna's mane being long and flowing/probably the closest to the show's og designs as it's gonna get-
Trying to get her hair to be this like,, flowing streams and frothing water reflecting the night sky & moon phases type thing,, + having lil twinkling stars & sparkles that form hidden constellations in it- Honestly I d o want to make it as separate from the show as I can tho so it'll def b gettin some styling for her default style (+she still has her shape shifting powers so it will prolly be subject to change no matter what I do w/it ngl,,🥀 🦐)

Cadance's mane style has more or less been the same since the first couple designs-just more refining & cleaned up- More poof so it gives more of a "enveloping" comforting energy- the hair flows like Luna & Tia's hair in the show (kinda) but more swirling & colors-I still want to keep the aurora effect/colors in her hair but didn't get to color these sketches (away from my puter rn)😭

Made Celestia look like a fiery cotton ballll this is so saaaddd,, 😭😭 Unless it accidentally grows on me,, 🫪 I DEF want something that radiates celestial fire or sun- Kinda also want something big like her hair helps her silhouette be overwhelming and attention grabbing liKe a shining star/sUN GRAAAA- I have to look at a fat mood board to get her right ong,,, 🦐
