So I did this thing last night where I played Dota for like 5 hours and ended up at the same MMR that I started with. Though I did learn quite a bit, and I ended up carryhing quit a few games that felt completely unwinnable. So maybe it is i just "Nah I'd win" mentality that makes you climb.
