Sometimes you've got to log off and spend a few days exploring a river. I'm back in Madison after three days paddling down the lower Wisconsin River, camping with friends, and generally ignoring the outside world.

19 years ago, I married my best friend. I am a seriously lucky guy. It's hard to believe we've been married that long. Time is flying. I am grateful for all these years and look forward to many more — Happy Anniversary, KT!😘
I'm a sucker for memoirs about rural life. For example, James Rebanks' wonderful book, "The Shepherd's Life." Are there other books in this vein you'd recommend? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I've been cleaning my basement this week. For fun, I dug out some old CDs and have been playing them on a 1990s CD boombox. You know what? It's fun! I forgot how much I love listening to CDs. Does anyone else do this? This could become a new habit.
