Hey, so due to the wildfires making the air quality (quite literally) the worst MN has ever seen I will be taking a brief hiatus from here until Monday. The particles have brought back my cough and it's really hard for me to breathe deeply, let alone focus on any art :/

I saw another post talking about it and foolishly forgot to repost but um... I'm one of the hundreds of AC folks who caught a horrible sinus infection :') Thankfully COVID + flu were both negative so it's just a lot of fluids/rest for me, but please get tested anyway if you have similar symptoms!

#AC2026 is finally in the books... the heat wave sapped too much energy from me to suit long and do my usual photoshoot, but we both still had a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who said hi to us in/out of fursuit, and safe travels to everyone going home today! 💙

AC has kept me busy, but I forgot to mention that the con carries Pop'n in the (brand new) arcade 🥹 I did most of what I wanted to do this year, so tomorrow will be spent suiting as long as I can until the DLCC is closed off. Mutuals still there should definitely say hello!

Since a few folks have asked me about this... while I already have my reg + room for AC, I won't know for sure if I can go until next week due to how my current job handles PTO requests. That's why I didn't offer con-pickup comms this year and have been otherwise quiet on my socials. 🥲

I've been making it a habit to draw something small (60-min or less) every time I visit one of the Twin Cities parks outside of a meet, so last week I did an experimental badge. Might make some tweaks before I offer this to Ko-Fi subs next month, but I really like it so far! 🐰 #flannyart #furryart

I normally don't make posts like this (and honestly hate that I even HAVE to do this) but for those who may be unaware: please boycott MN POC Pride and support other local queer art events. They were caught using AI posters and decided to respond by... doubling down and giving excuses.

We want to take a moment to address that. MNPOC Pride is a small grassroots organization. We don't receive the same level of funding, staffing, or resources that many larger organizations receive. What we do have is a dedicated team, volunteers, and a community that continues to show up and support our work year after year. For more than 25 years, we've worked to make sure LGBTQ+ BIPOC voices are heard, represented, and celebrated. We've done that through festivals, community programs, health initiatives, youth programming, advocacy, and creating spaces where people can simply be themselves.Like many organizations, we use tools that help us work more efficiently. That doesn't diminish the countless hours of planning, fundraising, organizing, and community building that go into everything we do. Behind every event, every flyer, every post, and every program are real people doing the work. We ask that if you have concerns, you approach them with respect. Please don't assume you know how or why something was created. And if our content isn't for you, that's okay too. What matters most is that we continue showing up for our community. Despite limited resources, despite challenges, and despite obstacles, we are still here. We are still creating space. We are still giving LGBTQ+ BIPOC people a voice.
