Today (or tomorrow) marks 8 years of being a Twitch affiliate.
Following up on the quoted post below, I've actually had to refund channel points for redeems that are VTuber based yet redeemed on VRChat streams because someone I mod for doesn't have the redeems setup for VRChat.
Flash Hound (They/Them)@flashhound.bsky.social · 4mo agoThis really shouldn't be rocket science, but please don't redeem channel point rewards for VRChat if the streamer doesn't have them set up to activate for that Twitch category. The channel mods would have to refund the points for the redemptions and probably disable the redeems.

How to tell you're dealing with a bot in your Twitch chat. - "Hi" or any greeting followed by asking for your Discord server - Immediately using !discord - The account is freshly made (usually within the last 7-10 days) - They're offering to make art for you (i.e. pfp, banners, etc.)
