Interesting! My impression went in a different direction. I kept thinking of Marilyn Monroe; the cigarette recalls her self-conscious photographic persona, puncturing the polished Hollywood image. I think Taemin is doing something similar. Performing glamour while subtly undermining it.

If Taemin’s performance tomorrow differs from week one, could the darker, sexier styling he hinted at signal a slight setlist change - maybe adding Criminal?! Structuring the show as a progression from light (wk 1) to dark (wk 2), rather than the reverse, would make that feel especially deliberate.
