Fun design prob today. Our game has survivor-like upgrades, but gameplay is more involved and a menu auto opening on level up can interrupt the flow. So I've made it so level ups bank + player chooses when to use them. Made it juicy to keep the dopamine hit. #roguelike #indiegame
