"Here on the pulse of this new day You may have the grace to look up and out And into your sister's eyes, Into your brother's face, your country And say simply Very simply With hope Good morning." – Maya Angelou

Finally got some words down after a few days of being too busy, and I hate his discouraged I feel. This story hasn’t found its stride yet, but still it just feels like I’m writing holes, holes, holes. Looking forward to the sessions where the words just flow and feel right.

2K words today! That’s the most I’ve done in one sitting in awhile. I’m just going to keep going and hope the solution to my plot problem comes to me. I’ve gotta trust these characters to show me their story.

It’s #Octowrimo, and I am once again going to use #booksky for my accountability/progress thread. It’s day 4 of the month, day 3 of revising and I’m at 4211 words. When I did my initial re-read, I was like, “Aww, this story is great!” Now I’m like, “Ahh! If don’t know about this story!” Pushing on!
