I learned a new word today: Epistemicide. The deliberate destruction of culture’s knowledge systems, replaced by the oppressor’s systems that create new foundations of history & knowledge going forward. The indigenous & colonized know this all too well. My story’s antagonists heavily leverage this.

If you're unsure if VP counts as art -- it absolutely does. It's a skill; it takes time & effort to learn those tools. It's posing, & lighting, & composition, & so much editing & tweaking & reworking, & love & care for the subject matter. Just as photography is an art, so is virtual photography.
