81 years ago, on the 6th of August 1945, the United States dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. It was the first time a bomb like this was used in warfare. Over 70.000 people were killed instantly. Tens of thousands more suffered consequences, lethal and non-lethal, for decades. #otd #history 🗃️
