Hmm. I am confused didn't the investors listen to the last instalment of Mystery AI hype Theatre 2000 with @AdamBecker , apparently this won't work. I will add this to the Orbital Urbanism article I am working on. Another imaginary that entangles the urban with the orbital.

Teaching myself how to teach ethics, I learned case studies are a powerful tool. But really, wtf - a refugee chatbot to teach you in a sanitised way about ethics in the field? There is so much wrong with this that even starting the project probably should not have passed ethics review. #Ai4Good ?

Friends, for something to be open source, we need to see 1. The data it was trained & evaluated on 2. The code 3. Model architecture 4. Model weights. DeepSeek only gives 3, 4. And I'll see the day that anyone gives us #1 without being forced to do so, because all of them are stealing data.

Holy moly. I'm trying to write an academic paper, and nearly every application I'm using is not only offering Generative AI as an option for writing, but *pushing it* -- pervading the design to the point where a simple misclick would make my content AI-generated. Here's why that's a problem. 🧵
