I bought this resin kit years ago from The Crafsman, sculpted by CrafsSon! I love the Mail Snail, it looks great next to my Free Range Chicken!

I made an axe from Avowed! You have to wet the EVA foam with water and then the epoxy clay sticks really well. The clay cures rigid, so you lose the foam flexibility, but I didn't need that for this build.

When chatting about the 3D Printing legislation, keep it simple and to the point: It spends millions of taxpayer dollars, year after year, trying to build software that experts say can't actually be built, and scans your private data as well. Start there. The fundamentals that we can all connect on

I needed a quick glove for a Cyberpunk costume, so I used zip ties! We also use our leather hole punch for way more than leather, the poor thing, haha

This is the jacket I found for a quick, Cyberpunk-style costume I made for a convention. Leather paints work great on vinyl and so does contact cement!

Years ago, when the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer came out, I made a custom necklace to wear with a cyberpunk-style costume. This totally justifies my scrap hoarding 😆

Dry brushing on paint helps add highlights to the raised up bits. Then, going over the crevices with a weathering pass really makes the contrast pop!

For attaching EVA foam pieces together, I usually use contact cement. If the foam pieces are tiny, I'll use super glue (cyanoacrylate) which has to be held in place for a few seconds. #foamsmith

I had so much fun piecing together this helmet design! I'm still blown away with metallic finishes on visors. You really can see through them! If you're going to wipe at the inside of the visor, you'll want to spray on a clear coat over the chrome, too.

Over the years I've made several props for Film Riot's short films and one of which was this tiny drone! The version I made didn't need to actually fly for the film, but I had to give it a shot! #filmriot

When using a heat gun on EVA foam, you can stamp textures into the surface! If you apply the heat gun again, the texture will mostly be removed. Also, the thicker the foam, the deeper the texture can be! (also also: don't burn the foam!) #foamsmith

Who else is completely obsessed with Slay the Spire 2 right now? My wife and I are hooked on multiplayer. Also, every time this guy is defeated I snort-laugh. 😂
