Rockstar made a post expressing their disappointment regarding the leaks for GTA6, where in they talk about how excited they are to show "everyone" the extended look tomorrow (8/27) This extended look is (still) locked behind a Netflix pay wall. Rockstar has learned, and addressed, nothing.

NEW: CWA union members have inflated a giant rat and deployed a wall of red flags representing laid off Xbox workers outside the Bethesda office in Rockville. The protest was timed to coincide with a visit from Xbox CEO Asha Sharma, who is apparently at the studio today.

New games and remasters and everything, yeah awesome, but when that's paired with intense lay offs - which includes senior developers - that only spells 1 thing: Less polished games made under crunch. I still expect a great game, but I worry about the developers timetables and stress.

Bethesda Games Studios’ Montreal workers are being treated especially poorly by XBOX and we won’t stand for it. Here are the details. If this upsets you let Microsoft know: feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/ide...

Fallout franchise update from Bethesda 🎮 • ‘Fallout 3’ and ‘Fallout: New Vegas’ remasters are happening • ‘Fallout 5’ is in pre-production • Obsidian is working on another ‘Fallout’ project

Official confirmation and recognition is always a win, and I'm looking forward to seeing Bethesda support Obsidian in making this spin-off Fallout game. Any modders have any insight or hopes for Creation Engine 3? It sounds exciting!

BREAKING: Xbox and Bethesda share Fallout roadmap. • Bethesda Game Studios is now in pre-production on Fallout 5 • Fallout 3 Remaster • Fallout: New Vegas Remaster • Obsidian Entertainment working on a new Fallout game bethesda.net/en/article/7...

Given the current gaming culture, I don't see a new Fallout game by Obsidian having a "Return Home" reception. It WILL be successful, but between coming from a smaller studio with a different design approach (Grounded series), anti-woke/anti-bethesda commentators, its going to be a muted success.

Asha Sharmas strategy appears to be "move fast, break stuff" which historically has had mixed results. Studios like Obsidian, Complusion, and others that are now on the chopping back take time to create great games, not pump out cookie cutter titles. Fingers crossed for these amazing studios.
