Reacting to the German Foreign Minister's comments this week in Brussels on sending troops to Ukraine, outgoing Chancellor Olaf Scholz said on Thursday that ‘as long as the war lasts, it is out of the question to send German troops or soldiers to Ukraine’.

Germany could deploy its military to Ukraine, Foreign Minister Baerbock said during a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels, Spiegel magazine reports. Foreign peacekeeping forces could help enforce a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia.
