The radius of this Neutron Star is just 11km, the image is taken from 779km, the exclusion zone, at extreme magnification. Because the asteroids have blocked the glare, it's possible to see the field lines. #EliteDangerous @canonn.science

A gigantic ring around an anomalously slow rotating Neutron star. The ring is black because it is in a black hole system. I don't make the rules #EliteDangerous
This is an interesting example of extreme banding of a ring. It looks like it is a fraction of the radius of the body but it in fact double the radius. Only about 1000km of its 10,000km extent is visible. So this is an example of a Taylor Ring that is undetectable from the journal. #EliteDangerous
