It feels like alot of people don't have the right tools to fully process and critique things, so they will just go completely insane if they ever encounter a mostly unambiguous piece of media, because it's impossible to mold something wholly actualized back into a shape they are familiar with

WIP building a reference for Storm in Blender and saw a neat tutorial about using a t-shaped profile on curves to sculpt hair. Don't know how optimal it is for actual 3D art but it seems nice for references since it quickly builds nice shapes while still giving you alot of control.

still slowly working through OG FF7 and man I can't imagine how it would've been back in 1997 to play through the Ancient City and change disks only to get hit with whatever the snow area is doing

Just worked on updating my website with my paintings from the last couple of months and it's strange revisiting work at their original scale, so many "oh so that's why I did it that way" revelations. I've gotten so used to seeing them at thumbnail sizes on my feed or in my notifications.

I never played the original FF7 and I kinda want to play through it for context before jumping on the remakes. What's the best way to play it now if I have no nostalgia at all for the original release?
