Mostly motorsport, but occasionally I'll voice my opinion about other stuff. This doesn't always go well

I see one of Sissy SpaceX's rockets is on collision course with the moon. Now if I remember correctly, these three would be sent to deal with any lunar threats and the following would happen: (1) If three targets, two would be dealt with and one would get through (2) If one target, they'd all miss

My Thunderbirds knowledge almost came in handy on tonight's #onlyconnect, only for me to spot the secondary football element to the question And yes, it does look as though Gordon's just been told what his old mucker Schofield has been up to these last few years

Odd stats department: Lando Norris's Hungarian Grand Prix win last week was the first GP win for McLaren in a year ending in a 6 since Alain Prost won the 1986 finale in Australia

Silverstone looking a bit wetter this morning than for many a week. It's because I talked about it being a scorcher on this week's "What's On" guide, isn't it...

Hmm, half an hour into the Ferrari Challenge NA livestream from Sonoma and they've only just finished watching some military planes fly over. I assume the same didn't happen in the Ferrari Challenge UK event at Brands Hatch, unless the RAF needed to "escort" some Russian fighters from the region

Seems like a relatively quiet motorsport weekend, by which I mean I can just about fill two pages of A4 rather than having to group things together to get everything in...

I've been on three motoring websites so far this morning and seen this picture on two of them. Nothing odd in seeing the same pic, if it's a current news item, but unusual for a car from about 25 years ago. I wonder if Vauxhall VX220 nostalgia is about to peak?

The start time of tonight's IndyCar race is apparently contingent on when the World Cup Final finishes, because reasons. Don't expect it to start much before Tuesday at the current rate of progress

If you're wondering where the Aurum 1006km from Palanga was on my live recommendations yesterday, sadly there doesn't appear to be an English language one, so it wasn't eligible. Worth checking out anyway - it appears to be a wet one this year, and I've just seen some GT3 cars lapping a VW Caddy...

I understand there's some sort of football match in the USA of America on Sunday, but I'm not interested in that. Channel 4 are hoping nobody else is either, given that they haven't moved the F1 highlights to a different time...

Usually you'll find at least one person willing to give a comment a "thumbs down" on the BBC sport live feeds. Want to ensure that doesn't happen? Insert a cuddly toy 🧸

Eau Rouge into Raidillon, as it looked 30 years ago. Grass, gravel and barriers to prevent people from trying to go flat out, and by and large it worked. Get back to this and we solve many of the corner's issues that have appeared in recent years #bbcf1
