The first illustration shows a woman standing in front of a group of trees. On the far left are a torii gate and the edge of a sign. The camera viewfinder frame lines are visible in all four corners, and the focus patch in the center is pointed at the woman. This the “focus” stage: the photographer half-presses the shutter button to lock focus and exposure on the subject.

In the second illustration, the woman has shifted to the right half of the frame. She is smiling and gesturing to the torii, which has shifted to the left center of the frame. The sign is mostly visible now, and a shrine can be seen in the background. This is the “recompose” stage: while continuing to half-press the shutter button, the photographer orients the camera towards the final composition and then fully presses the shutter button, taking the picture.

I noticed a couple of weeks ago that 512GB of RAM configs of the Mac Studio went from “12 weeks” delivery to “unavailable.” Today, Apple has removed the 512GB option entirely. #apple #ram

The Apple Store app “Buy Mac Studio” interface. The “32-core CPU, 80-core GPU” option is selected. The only available RAM options are 96GB and 256GB. The 512GB option has been removed.
