Next Wednesday some of the Forth Rivers Trust 'Stream Team' runners will dust off their running shoes to tackle the Dumyat Hill Race. Eli, Michiel & Charlotte will start at the University of Stirling, run 8km and undertake approx 380-440m of ascent… wish them luck!

🌳 Callandrade tree planting 🌳 Last week we completed tree planting work at Callandrade Meadows in parternship with Callander Community Development Trust. The 3.6ha site has been converted into a diverse mosaic of Willow and Alder woodland with areas of reedbeds and wet rush grassland.

Today was the Trust's annual Health & Safety refresher training and the office was busy with discussion! Topics covered included the importance of water safety, lone working practices, dynamic risk assessments, COSHH & more - but staff were kept well fuelled with coffee and snacks.☕
Photos from a tree-maintenance session at Deaf Knowe last week! Despite a chilly start, we checked around 1,000 trees ❄ Great effort! We also found plastic balls in-river 😔 luckily a volunteer is cleaning them, hoping to donate to a charity that may send them to Ukraine.
