Sometimes I do computer networking or security things. I like IPv6.

"If you would have not called us who knows when we would have noticed this. Only one other person called about it". This reinforces that monitoring config & traffic for both protocols is necessary. Dual-stack works "too well" for the average user to notice breakage, but only in one direction 3/3

I don't say this to disparage anyone, I've run ISPs and it's a hard job needing a lot of attention to detail. What I wanted to highlight is that dual-stack definitely masks broken behavior. If a large amount of my work wasn't IPv6-only, I probably would have missed that #IPv6 didn't come back. 2/3

#audio folks of bluesky - I am rebuilding an audio system after a couple of decades of not playing physical media. We have a lot of cassettes, records, and CDs. I have a decent sony CD player. Looking for recommendations on turntable, tuner/amp, cassette deck. Not opposed to vintage.

More and more I am finding that the single largest technical impediment to #IPv6 deployment is the fact that #Github has no IPv6. Lack of an IPv6 endpoint not only hinders development work, it really makes working with containerization images and platforms almost prohibitively frustrating. 1/2
