found an annoying bug in react native today, if you use the useColorScheme() hook, it stops updating when you hot reload (requires a full restart of the app to start getting updates again) :/

The blur views have some flicker issues but overall it’s coming together nicely! 😎

Someone (@bsky.app) could build an ATProto-aware client with smarts to encrypt/sign emails sent to users with ATProto enabled email.💡🔐📧

The one thing SMTP has going for it is network effect (a very large N²) Which means we are going to have it for decades. The question is what do we do about this? I wonder if it will take a product with a large user base (like WhatsApp size) to build a new client that reimagines the entire UX?

Landed at LAS and somehow I ended up taking a train from terminal 1 to terminal 3 (following signs for baggage claim) only to discover my suitcase is in terminal 1?? now I have to take a shuttle (which is every 15-30min) to terminal 1 just to get my bag 🤦‍♂️
