I’ve upgraded my stance on Dark Souls II from Meh to Very Good. It feels like 95% of what makes FromSoft games great but that 5% is so weird and clunky. A lot of the points of this article are so right but man, a sequel games combat shouldn’t feel so much worse than the first.
