Looking at it positively, I have 6 players left, including Bruno (C), and I went for Barry instead of Wissa.

Looking through the FPL Celebs league on the livefpl app, I'm surprised to see only 4/53 teams still without Haaland. Fwiw 2 are Tom Dollimore and Ben Crellin, and all 4 are in the top third of the league. Was expecting more of a 30/70 or 25/75 split. Will interesting to see if any are left in GW7.

How have Chelsea spent billions to end up with a team like this?

Was hoping Schade could keep quiet this week 😂 would have been helpful if he could have gone the IB without a price rise.

In a perfect world with no injuries or extreme price moves in the IB, I'd hope to do: GW6 Roll GW7 Isak➡️Haaland, Bruno ➡️7.8m or less mid The mid could also be closer to 6m, e.g., Schade, Barnes or Tav, to do Mbeumo to Saka in GW8. I could go even cheaper to leave budget to bring JP back instead.

Looks like a fun, if volatile, week!

GW5 OR 163K Joao Pedro➡️Barry Bruno (C) DCL (VC) Would really have liked to roll but as well as GW5, I'm aware in GW6 my FWD situation isn't great so Barry becomes my best option then too. Bruno and Mbeumo will be pretty differential this week and will make / break me.

Tempted to go for Barry instead of Wissa if I move off JP. I'm a little less convinced about Newcastle than others, and Wissa keeps getting shunted to no. 10 for stretches of games. Barry consistently gets chances, even if he's wasteful. The extra 0.6m will be handy for GW7 moves too.

I have had a little look at using the WC. A JP absence makes it a little more appealing but I don't think it's the right hop on/off point for enough players vs using an FT to cover with, say, Wissa for a few weeks or Gross off my bench. I am aware of a GW6 FWD issue with Isak (MCI) and DCL (@ARS).

A Joao Pedro curveball! My first thoughts are either to hold and play Gross or transfer out for Wissa (who has 2 good fixtures in a row). I can't get to Haaland without taking a hit and sacrificing Bruno, who plays FUL, so that's out. Something to ponder over the next 23 hours...

You can do all the planning you want, spend time making your own projections and team strengths, watch random games from teams you don't support to do the eye test, but ultimately the colour of your arrow comes down to whether a professional can tell what is a goal and what isn't and who scored it 😂

Aside from gifting goals to players I don't own, I see we are taking them off the ones I do.

Bogle continues to look like a points machine everytime I watch Leeds play. He must be absolutely terrible in the games I don't watch to keep his totals down 😂

Every time I watch Leeds, Bogle looks very attacking, but I never see any talk about him in FPL circles.

GW5 bus team, think it looks fine for a roll. I could do something like Mbeumo➡️MGW but I think he's a strong option getting plenty of chances as long as Amad is out. It also makes sense to roll to have an extra transfer available in case something happens over the I terbational break.

GW4 84 (-4) = 80pts OR 77K➡️163K Strange week; TC fail, caught a few of the big scorers but all my differentials blanked and were outscored by all my threats, also took a hit but it was a net winner. Will likely roll this week, or make a marginal move like Mbeumo➡️MGW.

DCL really should have scored again. Scores the tricky header but fluffs the tap-in.

I don't understand how that is not a penalty for handball.

Haaland going up to 3 bonus just as the ref apology comes out is quite something to take as a non-Haaland owner
