Poop time.. Stenopterygius. The reference I used had this same spine as in my picture, but later I saw in fossils that the spine had more volume. Something I discovered far into the drawing process, so I didn't bother changing.. #ichthyosaur #poop #paleoart #palaeoart #ocean #sea #paleontology
Happy #FossilFriday from a couple of baby mosasaur snoots! These little dudes from Kansas belong to Tylosaurus (r) and Clidastes (l). Even isolated like this you can see how much larger the tylo ram prow is. Bother these little guys would come from babies with skulls no mire than 20cm long. 🧪
