A commission for @thenomeking.bsky.social depicting his dramatic transformation into a scorpion-taur, one inspired by the Scorpion King from The Mummy Returns 🦂 #taur #centaur #transformation #taurtf #centaurtf

An illustration depicting a handsome human man's spontaneous transformation into a scorpion-taur (that is, a centaur with the lower body of a scorpion) upon donning an enchanted bracelet in an Egyptian crypt. Three panels depict his transformation: the first shows the bracelet shining on his wrist; the second shows his scorpion tail tearing through the seat of his pants; and the third shows his scorpion body growing in between his upper body and legs as his new claws tear through what remain of his clothes. The final image shows the man turning to look back at his changed lower body in surprise as the bracelet glows around his wrist.

A mersona reference commission for @thenomeking.bsky.social, with or without ear fins and webbed fingers — take your pick! 🧜‍♂️✨ #merman #mermaid #mermantf #taur

An illustration showing a full-body view of a handsome merman with short brown hair and a goatee. He has a strong and svelte upper body with a tail inspired by a betta fish, with blue scales and fins that gradate from navy to purple to bright red at the tips.

Part two of what will eventually be a 5-part merman transformation sequence commission for @merrow.bsky.social! Rowen's moongazing is interrupted by a sudden wave surging onto shore, sweeping him off his feet as a miraculous transformation occurs. 🧜‍♂️💫 #merman #mermantf #mermaid #transformation

A comic page depicting the beginnings of a human man's transformation into a merman. The first illustration shows him standing in water coming up past his ankles looking down at himself as magic light swirls and sparkles around his legs. Three panels beside him depict his transformation into a merman as his tail grows in: first, his dorsal fin grows in over the waistband of his swimming trunks; second, his pectoral fins emerge from below where his human torso blends into his piscine tail. The last panel shows him losing balance and falling over as his legs disappear.

The first part of what will eventually be a 5-part merman transformation sequence commission for @merrow.bsky.social! A friendly merman invites Rowen down to the beach, but not just for a swim... Have you ever wondered what's on the dark side of the moon? 🧜‍♂️💫 #merman #transformation #mermantf

A comic page depicting a human man walking down onto a beach to meet a handsome merman. The merman leaps off the rock he's seated upon to meet the man at the beach, where he directs the man's attention up toward the sky. The last panel shows the moon reflected in the man's glasses as magic sparkles glitter around his eyes.

Part 4-ish of a merman transformation sequence commission for @merrow.bsky.social! He's traded his life as a human for one under the sea to become the newest member in a pod full of hunky mermen. Can't say I blame him — wouldn't you make the same choice? 🧜‍♂️💫 #merman #transformation #mermantf

An illustration showing a merman inviting a man who has just transformed into a merman himself into the water. The new merman is looking back at his tail with great excitement as a pod of mermen silhouetted by the moon welcome him into the ocean.

Verso of Expedition 33 — as a centaur! 💪 Last time Verso was split in half, he lost track of his legs and needed to get a new set painted for him. They're a bit unconventional, sure, but Monoco's since taken quite an interest in Verso's extra feet 👣 @expedition33.bsky.social @benstarr.bsky.social

An illustration featuring Verso from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 as a centaur. He is dressed in his expedition uniform and is wielding the Dualiso in both hands. His lower half is horselike in its appearance, with a black hide and white stripes along his back and legs. He has golden hooves. Behind him is an art nouveau-inspired emblem adorned with Esquie's face and the number 33 in the bold, geometric lettering seen in-game.

A preview image showing to snazzily dressed people. The figure on the right is dressed in a purple pinstripe suit, and the figure on the right wears a glittery red dress and cools herself with a peacock-feather fan. From what's visible of their necks, it seems neither figure is human, as the man on the right seems to have the head of a snake, while the woman on the right appears to have the head of some kind of bear or other large mammal.

A commission for @tors396.bsky.social and @rikuthemermage.bsky.social 🌹 Here we see Jostein guiding Ethan to a secret spring for a bath. Ethan was grateful for Jostein's company — when it comes to matters of hygiene, all centaurs know it's good to have help when washing the hard-to-reach bits! 🧼✨

A picture depicting two centaurs walking down a forested path with a small settlement of centaurs visible in the background. One centaur is blond, with long hair he wears half-tied behind his head in an effortless bun. The other centaur has brown hair and wears a towel draped over his shoulders. Both centaurs are muscular and handsome.

Part 3-ish in what will eventually be a 4-ish part merman transformation sequence commission for @merrow.bsky.social! He thought it would be most fun if we started with the scene where all his fins had grown in — I have to say, he wasn’t wrong! 🧜‍♂️💫 #merman #mermaid #transformation #mermantf

His swimming trunks are still caught partway down his tail, the last remnants of his human form. He is smiling as magic light swirls around his red tail.

A sketch of Hector, Cassie's father, dressed in his signature yellow swimsuit. 💪 Until recently, Cassie and Odys were the only characters from 21 Bottles I’d ever drawn before, so even this simple sketch was a bit of a foray into the unknown. I'm excited to share more concept art with you all soon!

A drawing of a man from the waist-up dressed in a classic yellow swimsuit. He has dark, short hair and a scraggly beard, posed with his hand on his hip as he scratches the back of his head to look at something off-screen. He is rather muscular, with strong arms and defined pecs, but with a bit of a tummy bulging over his waistband in an attractive, controlled manner.

Added some colors and a background to the sketch of my merman mercenary — or mer-cenary for short! His name is Talu 🐙 Not sure what else exactly I plan to do with him at the moment, but he’s here, he’s queer, and he’s brandishing a spear. Get used to it! #merman #MerMay #MerMay2025 #octopus

A drawing of a muscular octopus-merman, otherwise known as a cecealia, cecaelius, or cecaelium, with long dark hair and a full beard. He is brandishing a spear and is clad in armor covering his shoulders and forearms. His skin his sunkissed and tan and his tentacles are a dark purple with red rings.

Get to know Odys, the deuteragonist of 21 Bottles!

A miniature biography of Odys. His age is 15/16 and he hails from Astarias. His biography reads as follows:

"A charming young merman who wants everything around him to be beautiful.

Odys hates being on land. Up, down, left, right — who cares? It’s all the same when you’re stuck on the same beach day after day. At least some of the outfits Cassie wears down to shore are stylish enough... You know, maybe there’s some inspiration to be taken from Odys’ terrestrial trek after all?"

Get to know Cassie, the main character of 21 Bottles!

A miniature biography of Cassandra "Cassie" Watanabe. Her age is 12/13 and she hails from Meridian City. Her biography reads as follows:

"A precocious young girl with a penchant for reading and learning new things. She does not hesitate to take initiative, but is quick to defer responsibility — and blame — to those around her when things get tough.

Since meeting Odys, Cassie has resolved to help the lost merboy find his way home. But does she really have what it takes to let him go?"

Happy MerMay 2025! 🐚🪸 Here are a few merman pieces from years past to celebrate — look forward to more as the month goes on! #MerMay #MerMay2025 🧜‍♂️✨🧜✨🧜‍♀️

A portrait of the merman King Triton of how he ought to have looked in Disney’s The Little Mermaid live-action remake.

Sora from Kingdom Hearts in his Atlantica form. He is perched up on a rock with waves crashing behind him like Ariel in The Little Mermaid during Part of Your World (Reprise).

A red-tailed merman spiraling upward through the water. His arm is outstretched as if he is dancing, reaching for something just out of view, or perhaps even casting a spell.

A redheaded and green-tailed merman guiding a family of manatees through soft, purple water.
